HEBRON, March 18, 2026 (WAFA) – Armed colonists attacked Palestinian shepherds on Wednesday in the Wadi Abu Shaban area, south of Hebron, beating them and attempting to steal their sheep, before other colonists fired live ammunition and tear gas toward Palestinian citizens and held a number of them.

Israeli occupation forces also detained three Palestinian citizens and briefly held others in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, according to local activist, Osama Makhamreh.

He told WAFA that the occupation forces detained three Palestinians from Khirbet Al-Markaz in Masafer Yatta, and seized their vehicle while they were collecting plants.
