BEIRUT, March 14, 2026 (WAFA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced on Saturday evening that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 826 people, with 2,009 others injured, since the start of the onslaught two weeks ago.
In its daily report, the ministry said the total number of people killed between March 2 and March 14 reached 826, while the number of wounded stood at 2,009.
The report also noted an increase in the number of slain paramedics and health workers to 31 after missing medical staff were found under the rubble of the primary health care center in Borj Qalaouiyeh. It added that five hospitals have been forced to close due to attacks and threats.
Meantime, Israeli forces continue to carry out airstrikes and artillery shelling on several towns in southern Lebanon. Since dawn on Saturday, 24 people have been killed, including 12 members of medical teams.
In the latest strikes, four people were killed after an Israeli airstrike targeted an apartment in Haret Saida, according to the National News Agency.
In Nabatieh Governorate, 12 doctors, paramedics and nurses were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a primary health care center in Borj Qalaouiyeh in the Bint Jbeil District, according to a statement by the Lebanese health ministry.
In the same governorate, seven people were killed and others injured in another Israeli airstrike that targeted the Al-Rahibat neighborhood, the Lebanese National News Agency reported.
