JERUSALEM, March 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists abducted a Palestinian man on Thursday from the village of Beit Iksa, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources.
The sources told WAFA that colonists abducted Issa Maher Zayed while he was heading to his land in an area near a new colonial outpost they established yesterday on lands belonging to the village.
Zayed was attempting to reach his agricultural land in the area when colonists intercepted him, abducted him, and took him into the outpost, the sources added.
Lands in Beit Iksa have witnessed an escalation in attacks by Israeli colonists, particularly after the establishment of new outposts on residents’ lands and preventing them from accessing their property.
