JERUSALEM, March 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Anata, east of Jerusalem, and Al-Sawahra, southeast of Jerusalem, early Wednesday morning.

The Jerusalem Governorate stated that occupation forces re-raided Anata and stormed the home of Samih Al-Rifai, searching it.

The Governorate added that occupation forces also stormed Anata, positioned themselves along the apartheid wall, and conducted raids on several homes in the Al-Buqan area. Early Wednesday morning, they raided the home of Samer Aliyan, detaining his 13-year-old son, Reda; the home of Osama Kamel Hamdan, arresting his son, Ahmed; and the home of Raed Jadallah, arresting his son, Issa, before releasing him later. They also raided and searched the home of Mohammed Fathi Hamdan.

The governorate indicated that those forces stormed the town of Al-Sawahra Al-Sharqiya, southeast of Jerusalem, and raided a number of homes belonging to the Al-Zahika family, searched them, tampered with their contents, and assaulted a number of its members, as well as a number of workers who were present at the family's construction workshop.
