Weather: Partially cloudy to clear conditions, no change in temperature

RAMALLAH, March 12, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that Thursday's weather will be partly cloudy to clear and relatively cold during the day and cold at night, especially in the mountainous areas. No significant change in temperatures is expected. Winds will be westerly to southwesterly, light to moderate, occasionally becoming active. Sea waves will be low.

In the evening and night, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear and cold, especially in the mountainous areas. Winds will be southwesterly to westerly, light to moderate.  Sea waves will be low.

Friday's weather is expected to be partly cloudy and relatively cold during the day and cold at night, especially in the mountainous areas. No significant change in temperatures is expected. Scattered light rain is expected in some areas during the night. Winds will be southeasterly to easterly, light.  Sea waves will be low.

The weather forecast predicts a hot, dusty, and cloudy day on Saturday, with a rise in temperatures and scattered light rain expected across most areas. Winds will be moderate to brisk, blowing from the southeast to southwest, and the sea will be slight to moderate.

On Sunday, the country will be affected by a low-pressure system accompanied by a cold air mass. A noticeable drop in temperatures is expected, and scattered showers are forecast for most areas, particularly during the evening and night, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms. Winds will be brisk, blowing from the southwest to west, with occasional strong gusts reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h.  Sea waves will be high.

The PMD warned those with respiratory conditions today and in the coming days, especially on Saturday, of the increased dust concentration in the air.
