RAMALLAH, March 11, 2026 (WAFA) – President of the Supreme Constitutional Court, Justice Ali Muhanna, and members of the Court held discussions with the Chairman of the Constitutional Drafting Committee, Mohammad Al-Haj Qassem, along with other committee members, regarding the draft of the interim constitution prepared by the committee formed by President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, aimed at facilitating the transition from authority to statehood.

The meeting, held today in the city of Ramallah, took place as part of the ongoing process of reviewing the draft of the interim constitution.

During the session, the document was reviewed in detail, with participants presenting their views on its articles and provisions to advance a modern constitution that reflects the aspirations of the Palestinian people and their hopes for freedom and the establishment of a democratic state.
