HEBRON, March 9, 2026 (WAFA) — Several Palestinian citizens suffocated by tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers on Monday evening during an Israeli military incursion into the town of Ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces stormed the town, firing live ammunition as well as stun grenades and tear gas canisters toward residents as they were leaving mosques after the Ramadan Tarawih prayers, causing several cases of suffocation due to tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces also detained a young man from the Old City of Hebron.
