HEBRON, March 9, 2026 (WAFA) — Colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, attacked several Palestinians on Monday in the Hamroush area of Sa'ir town, and the Khirbet Huwara area in Masafer Yatta, northeast and south of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.
Colonists from a nearby illegal colonial settlement built on Palestinian lands in Sa’ir, assaulted Palestinian residents in the Hamroush area. Several members of the Al-Shalaldeh family sustained bruises and contusions after being beaten by armed colonists. They were treated on-site.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces detained two young Palestinian men while they were tending to their lands and took them to an unknown location.
In Khirbet Huwara in Masafer Yatta, colonists attacked Palestinian residents, beating them and spraying them with pepper gas. Two Palestinians suffocated and sustained bruises and were transferred by Red Crescent ambulances to Yatta Government Hospital for treatment.
Israeli forces also chased several children while they were on their lands near Wadi Al-Jawaya in Masafer Yatta. A Fourteen-year-old teenager was also detained and taken to an unknown location.
In Idhna town, west of Hebron, Israeli forces continued for several days to uproot hundreds of olive trees along the separation wall.
