GAZA, March 9, 2026, WAFA — One Palestinian was killed and others were injured on Monday evening after an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped a bomb on a group of civilians near Kashkoush Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that in the past 24 hours, seven new fatalities and 17 injuries were admitted to hospitals across the Gaza Strip. Several victims remain trapped under rubble or scattered on the streets, inaccessible to rescue teams.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, the total number of Palestinians killed and injured in Gaza has reached 72,133, and 171,826, respectively.
Since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, 2023, the death toll in the Strip has risen to 648. At least 17,728 others have been injured. A total of 755 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble.
