Colonists establish new outpost on Palestinian land near Nablus

NABLUS, March 8, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists established a new colonial outpost today on Palestinian-owned land between the villages of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, and Yasuf, east of Salfit.

Local sources reported that colonists placed a mobile home in the Wadi Yasuf area, north of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, after paving a colonial road that confiscated dozens of dunams of Palestinian land.

The sources indicated that the area has been subjected for several years to land leveling and the construction of settlement roads aimed at expanding settlements and seizing new land for the benefit of the colonies of Tapuah and Ariel, located east of Salfit, particularly on land belonging to the villages of Yasuf, Iskaka, and al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya.
