HEBRON, March 7, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was killed and his brother critically injured on Saturday evening after being shot by Israeli colonists in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to local sources.
Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh and medical sources told WAFA that Amir Mohammad Shnaran, 28, was killed, while his brother Khaled Shnaran, 33, sustained critical injuries after colonists from the colonial settlement of Susya opened fire at them while they were near their home in Khirbet Wadi Al-Rakhim in Masafer Yatta.
With the killing of Shnaran, the number of Palestinians killed by colonists since the beginning of this year has risen to four, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission. The number of Palestinians killed by colonists since October 7, 2023, has also reached 40.
