RAMALLAH, March 7, 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip on Saturday surged to 72,123 civilians, according to medical sources.
They said that the total death toll in the Gaza Strip climbed to 72,120, mostly women and children, and the casualties to 171,805 since the onset of the genocidal aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023.
They added that in the last 24 hours, the bodies of three slain Palestinians and three casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals. Hundreds of victims remain under the rubble or on the streets, where ambulance and civil defense face numerous difficulties in reaching them due to ongoing shelling and massive destruction.
Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect on 11 October 2025, the occupation forces have killed 640 Palestinians and injured 1,707 others. The bodies of 753 Palestinians have been retrieved over the same period.
