GAZA, March 7, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was killed and a child was critically injured on Saturday when Israeli forces targeted a house in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli forces have continued carrying out airstrikes, artillery shelling, and naval bombardments on multiple areas across the Strip, in violation of the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on October 11.

In the meantime, Israeli warplanes struck with missiles several locations east of the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Israeli navy also fired heavy machine guns and shells toward the coast of Gaza City..

Intermittent artillery shelling was reported in the northwestern areas of the Gaza Strip.

In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli fighter jets launched an airstrike east of Khan Younis, while naval forces opened fire on the coast off Khan Younis, coinciding with artillery shelling targeting the eastern areas of the city.

The total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire has risen to 636, with 1,704 wounded and 753 bodies recovered.
