TUBAS, March 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Six Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday in the village of Al-Aqaba, east of the town of Tubas in the northern West Bank, after being beaten by Israeli occupation forces.
The Tubas branch of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams treated six injuries resulting from the assault, which followed an attack on the village by armed Israeli colonists.
Local sources said the colonists, protected by Israeli forces, opened live fire on residents. Of note, citizens have been trying since early morning to recover dozens of livestock stolen by the colonists, according to witnesses.
The incident is part of a series of attacks by Israeli colonists in the northern West Bank, particularly in the Jordan Valley. These attacks often include property damage, theft of livestock, and physical assaults on residents, typically carried out under the protection of Israeli forces.
