JERICHO, March 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Friday deployed heavy military hardware in the area located between Jericho and al-Auja town in the Jordan Valley, according to Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights.

It said that the occupation authorities rolled out heavy military hardware, including tanks, and set up mobile homes in the area.

It described this as an escalatory step within the larger context of the occupation authorities’ quest to reinforce control over the Jordan Valley and impose new restrictions on Palestinians’ daily life.
