Tubas: Occupation forces detain 11 Palestinians following storming homes

 

TUBAS, March 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained 11 Palestinians from the city of Tubas and the town of Tammun, south of the city, on Wednesday.

Local sources said that the occupation forces raided several homes in Tubas and Tammun.

Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) in Tubas, stated that the occupation forces detained a number of people after raiding their homes in Tubas. He added that the occupation forces forced the residents of one house in Tubas to evacuate it before converting it into a military post.

He added that the occupation forces arrested the following individuals from Tammoun: Abdul Aziz Omar Abdul Aziz Bisharat, Ayham Jawdat Suleiman, Ayman Tayseer Bani Odeh, Abdul Rahim Khalil Bisharat, and Yousef Khalil Bisharat. They also detained Khader Nouri Bisharat, Muhammad Dhiab Muhammad Bisharat, and Imad al-Din Nasser Bani Matar.

In a related development, the Governor of Tubas and the Northern Jordan Valley, Ahmed al-Asaad, decided to suspend official working hours for government and non-governmental institutions until 10:00 AM due to the movement of occupation vehicles in the city's streets. Emergency committees and the health sector will continue their work.
