HEBRON, March 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested 15 Palestinians from the Hebron district early Wednesday morning after raiding their homes, searching them, ransacking their belongings, and severely beating them and others.
Security and local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces raided Hebron city, stormed several homes and detained a number of people.
Media activist Mohammed Awad, from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, told WAFA news agency that Israeli forces stormed the town with military vehicles, raided dozens of homes, searched them, and ransacked their contents.
They gathered family members, photographed them and their identity cards, subjected them to field interrogations, and threatened several recently released prisoners with re-arrest. In some homes, furniture, belongings, windows, and doors were smashed.
The occupation forces also erected several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and its surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps, and closed a number of main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
