BETHLEHEM, March 3, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Tuesday night seized an apartment belonging to a Palestinian resident in the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, according to a local official.

Director of Tuqu’ Village Council, Taysir Abu Mufreh, told WAFA correspondent that the occupation forces took over an apartment on the third floor of a residential building owned by citizen Eid Ahmad Suleiman, located in the Khirbet ed-Deir area of the town, and turned it into a military outpost, deploying snipers on the rooftop.

Abu Mufreh added that the occupation forces notified the building’s owner that they would seize the apartment for 40 days, explaining that he had been preparing the apartment for his son, who is about to get married.
