Young Palestinian man and child injured by Israeli forces’ gunfire in Old Askar Camp

NABLUS, March 3, 2026 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man and a child were injured on Tuesday evening by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire during their ongoing raid on the Old Askar Camp east of Nablus.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its teams dealt with the injury of a 20-year-old young man who was shot in the foot with live bullets, and an 11-year-old child who was shot in the hand with live bullets. They were both transferred to the hospital.

The occupation forces continued their aggression on Askar Camp for the second consecutive day, conducting home raids and carrying out field investigations with residents.

WAFA correspondent reported that occupation forces, backed by military reinforcements, raided and searched homes and subjected a number of residents to field interrogations.

The occupation forces stormed Askar Camp at dawn yesterday, Monday, and closed all its entrances and the surrounding area.
