BETHLEHEM, March 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday night closed the entrances to the village of al-Jab‘a, southwest of Bethlehem, according to a local official.
The head of Al-Jab‘a Village Council, Dhiab Mash‘ala, told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces closed the two iron gates at the village’s main entrances, one between Nahalin and Husan, and the other between Nahalin and Al-Jab‘a, following the closure of the village’s primary entrance near the Gush Etzion colonial settlement bloc since the outbreak of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7, 2023.
Mash‘ala added that the closure of the village entrances prevented many residents from reaching their homes, noting that the village has recently been subjected to repeated attacks by both colonists and Israeli forces.
