JENIN, March 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Monday evening set up a military checkpoint on the Jenin-Nablus Road, south of Jenin city.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces placed the checkpoint near the entrances of the towns of ‘Ajja and Jaba’, south of Jenin, obstructing the movement of Palestinian-registered vehicles and checking their IDs.
Following the Israeli government’s approval for colonists to return, Israeli machinery and bulldozers continued paving and opening a road beneath the evacuated illegal colonial settlement of Tarsala, located between Jaba and ‘Ajja.
