Nablus: Two Palestinians killed, three others injured by Israeli colonists' gunfire

 

NABLUS, March 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian siblings were killed and three others injured on Monday by colonists' gunfire during an attack on the village of Qaryut, south of Nablus.

The Ministry of Health announced the killing of Mohammad Taha Abdul-Majid Muammar, 52, who was shot in the head, and his brother Fahim, 47, who was shot in the pelvis, during the colonists' attack.

Local sources reported that colonists attacked Palestinian homes south of Qaryut, firing live ammunition at residents and their houses.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its crews treated a 53-year-old man, a 47-year-old man, both shot in the head, a 30-year-old man shot in the shoulder, a 32-year-old man shot in the knee, and a 15-year-old boy shot in the shoulder.
