JORDAN VALLEY, March 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists began fencing off land in the northern Jordan Valley on Monday.
The head of the al-Maleh village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, reported that colonists began fencing off land in the Umm al-Jamal area of the northern Jordan Valley this morning.
Colonists had previously fenced off privately owned land in the nearby Ein al-Hilweh area.
Two years ago, colonists attacks forced approximately 14 Palestinian families to leave the Umm al-Jamal area after settlers established an outpost there.
