JERICHO, March 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces have continued, for the second consecutive day, to close all checkpoints leading out of the city of Jericho, preventing holders of Palestinian ID cards from leaving, according to local sources.
Sources told WAFA that checkpoints at the city’s exits remain completely closed. Entry into Jericho is permitted only through the DCO checkpoint and the so-called “Yellow Gate,” while departure from the city is not allowed.
