NABLUS, March 1, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian was injured on Sunday during an attack by Israeli colonists on the village of Duma, south of Nablus, where he and four others were briefly detained by the assailants.

Head of Duma Village Council, Suleiman Dawabsheh, said colonists attacked the Al-Shajara area east of the village, assaulting Ali Zawahra and briefly detaining him along with four other young men.

Israeli forces reportedly prevented ambulance crews from reaching the injured man. At the same time, Israeli forces imposed a siege on the village after closing its main entrance.

Dawabsheh noted that colonist attacks have been escalating amid global focus on regional developments, adding that the latest incident included cutting electricity to the Shakara neighborhood near the village, home to more than 80 residents.
