GAZA, March 1, 2026 (WAFA) — The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,096, with 171,791 injured since the start of the onslaught in October 2023, according to medical sources.
Health authorities reported that in the past 24 hours, hospitals in Gaza received one fatality and seven injuries, while a number of victims remain trapped under rubble or stranded in the streets, with rescue teams unable to reach them.
Since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, the total number of fatalities has reached 629, with 1,693 injuries recorded, and 735 bodies have been recovered so far.
