RAMALLAH, February 28, 2026 (WAFA) — The State of Palestine strongly condemned the Iranian attacks on several Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Iraq, stressing its full rejection of any violation of their sovereignty or aggression against them by any party.
It described the attacks as a blatant violation of the UN Charter and principles of international law.
The State of Palestine affirmed its solidarity and the solidarity of the Palestinian people with the brotherly Arab nations and their governments, reiterating its full support for measures taken to safeguard their security, stability, and sovereignty.
It also reaffirmed its consistent position against resorting to violence and war, calling for dialogue as the means to resolve disputes under all circumstances and for adherence to international law to strengthen regional and international peace and security.
President Mahmoud Abbas called for an emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers and for a session of the UN Security Council to address the serious challenges facing the region, its countries, and their sovereignty.
