Israeli colonists pepper spray, injure three Palestinians in Tubas

TUBAS, February 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were injured on Saturday after being pepper-sprayed directly in the face by Israeli colonists in the Ras al-Ahmar area, southeast of Tubas, according to a local official.

Abdullah Bsharat, head of the Atouf and Ras al-Ahmar village council, told WAFA that dozens of colonists brutally attacked Palestinian shepherds, forced them out of the area and pepper-sprayed them, causing burns and injuries to five people, including three whose condition necessitated their transfer to a hospital for treatment.

He noted that livestock farmers in the eastern areas of Tubas face escalating colonists’ attacks aimed at displacing them from their homes, further exacerbating their daily hardships and hindering their work on their land.
