RAMALLAH, February 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces intensified their military measures on Saturday morning at military checkpoints north of Ramallah, shutting down several crossings and preventing Palestinians from entering or leaving.

WAFA correspondent said that Israeli troops sealed off multiple checkpoints in both directions, including those at Ein Sinya, Atara, Aboud, Yabroud, and the entrance to Rawabi, further disturbing and tightening the movement of local citizens.

According to a report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the number of military checkpoints and gates across the Palestinian territories has reached more than 916, including 243 gates set up after October 7, 2023.
