NABLUS, February 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Friday attacked international activists in Qusra village, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources.
They said that colonists assaulted foreign activists who were present to support and protect local Palestinian residents in the Ras al-Ayn area, wounding two.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) sources confirmed that its crews provided first aid treatment to a 71-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man whom were injured by colonists before rushing them to a hospital.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
