GAZA, February 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli bombardment on Thursday killed two Palestinian civilians and injured others to the east of Gaza City.
WAFA correspondent said that Israeli warplanes targeted a group of civilians near the Al-Mahatta Park in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of two Palestinians and injuring dozens.
Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect at noon on 10 October 2025, the occupation forces have killed 618 Palestinians and injured 1,663 others. The bodies of 726 Palestinians have been retrieved over the same period.
Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 72,082 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 171,761 others.
