NABLUS, February 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces continued on Thursday their military onslaught against the village of Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, for the third consecutive day.
According to local sources, a convey of Israeli army vehicles raided raided and ransacked several houses at dawn on Thursday, photographing residents and their identity cards.
Troops reportedly posted threat notices on the doors of multiple houses and commercial shops and erected a military checkpoint between houses in the northern part of the village.
Notably, Israeli forces are still occupying two inhabited houses in the village, using them as military posts and interrogation centers. All schools and kindergartens in the village have been closed for the third consecutive day, amidst the ongoing onslaught.
