RAMALLAH, February 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained on Thursday the head of the al-Mughayyir Village Council and a young man from Umm al-Sharayet in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate.
Security sources told WAFA that Israeli troops conducted a military incursion on the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, resulting in the detention of council head Amin Abu Alia after raiding and ransacking his home.
Moreover, another military raid was carried out by Israeli soldiers against the Umm al-Sharayet neighborhood of al-Bireh, where they derailed Khalid Abu Latifa from his home.
