BETHLEHEM, February 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces notified 23 inhabited homes in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem, of their impending demolition on Wednesday, claiming they lacked building permits.
The head of the Nahalin Municipal Council, Ibrahim Ghayatha, told WAFA correspondent that the occupation forces issued demolition orders for homes located in the areas of Bakoush, Sabiha, Wadi Salem, and Qurnat al-Da’mas. The homes belong to several Palestinian residents.
Ghayatha added that the notices gave the homeowners 24 hours to file an appeal to halt the demolition order.
