RAMALLAH, February 25, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that partly cloudy and cold weather are expected for Wednesday, especially in the mountainous areas, with no change in temperatures. There is a chance of scattered light rain in some areas, particularly in the north. Winds will be westerly to southwesterly, moderate to brisk. Sea waves will be moderate to high.
In the evening and night, the weather will be partly cloudy and cold. Winds will be southwesterly, moderate. Sea waves will be moderate.
Weather on Thursday will be partly cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold, especially in the mountainous areas. Temperatures will drop, and scattered rain is expected in most areas. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to brisk, with occasional strong gusts that may reach 60 km/h. Sea waves will be high.
Friday's weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected, with cold to very cold temperatures, especially in mountainous areas. Temperatures will decrease, and there remains a chance of scattered light rain across most regions. Winds will be active, blowing from the west to northwest, with occasional strong gusts that may reach speeds of up to 60 km/h. Sea waves will be high.
On Saturday, partly cloudy skies are expected, with cold to very cold temperatures, especially in mountainous areas. Temperatures will remain unchanged, and there is a slight chance of scattered light rain in some areas. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the west to northwest. Sea waves will be low.
The PMD warned of the dangers posed by strong winds, which may reach speeds of up to 60 km/h in some gusts, slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall, reduced horizontal visibility due to fog and low-lying clouds, frost formation in the early morning hours of Saturday and Sunday, and high sea waves.
