HEBRON, February 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Tuesday evening continued their rampage of terror and violence in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to a media activist.
Osama Makhamra said that colonists chased shepherds in Khirbet Qwawis, released their cattle in the Khirbet al-Halaweh community, and broke into several dwellings.
He added that colonists also released their livestock and camels in al-Markez and Khirber At-Tabban, among other communities in Masafer Yatta.
Meanwhile, armed colonists gathered at the Wadi Sa'ir and denied Palestinians access to a nearby traffic artery.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
