BETHLEHEM, February 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening closed several entrances to the Bethlehem Governorate, including the Container military checkpoint, and raided the town of Doha, according to security sources.

Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces closed multiple entrances across the governorate, including key northern, southern, and eastern access points, as well as the Container military checkpoint northeast of Bethlehem.

The Container checkpoint, situated northeast of Bethlehem, was also sealed off, in response to allegations that a vehicle had attempted to carry out a ramming attack near the Tunnel Road.

Israeli forces also stormed the town of Doha, west of Bethlehem; however, no home raids or detentions were reported.
