Israeli authorities ban two Palestinians from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque, for six months

JERUSALEM, February 243, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities issued an order on Tuesday banning two Palestinians from the Silwan neighborhood south of Jerusalem from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the occupation authorities issued an order banning Bilal Sarhan and Hatem Jabr al-Abbasi from the Al-Aqsa Mosque for a period of six months.

It noted that the occupation authorities have issued more than 300 similar exclusion orders against Jerusalemite residents regarding access to Al-Aqsa Mosque.
