Israeli forces carry out large-scale incursion into Tulkarm and Its two refugee camps

TULKARM, February 243, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces deployed significant military reinforcements on Tuesday morning to the city of Tulkarm and its two refugee camps.

WAFA correspondent said that large numbers of military vehicles and trucks, accompanied by infantry units, stormed the city through the Nitzanei Oz checkpoint to the west. Troops patrolled several main streets and neighborhoods, particularly the eastern district, the city center, and Nablus Street (also known as "Bank Street"), before heading towards the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps.

The sources said that Israeli forces obstructed the movement of vehicles and residents, threatening them with weapons.

This incursion comes as a apart of the ongoing Israeli assault against the city of Tulkarm and its two camps, now in its 394th consecutive day, amidst a tight siege and intermittent live fire.
