JERICHO, February 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained several Palestinians on Saturday evening from the Bedouin community of al-Hathroura near al-Khan al-Ahmar, located southwest of the city of Jericho in the occupied West Bank.
Hassan Mleihat, supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that Israeli special forces raided the community and detained 10 residents, including children.
He noted that the detentions are part of a series of repeated assaults carried out by Israeli forces against Bedouin communities in the area.
