NABLUS, February 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening fired at a vehicle and shattered its windows while local Palestinian residents were confronting an attack by Israeli settlers in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus.
Local sources reported that a group of colonists attacked the Al-Dobbat neighborhood in Beit Furik. Residents confronted them, but Israeli soldiers present at the scene fired heavily. During the incident, Israeli forces also assaulted local resident Mohammed Al-Shouli after targeting his vehicle and shooting at it.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society also said its teams treated a child who was injured by Israeli army fire during the raid on the town.
Colonist violence in the West Bank has been a recurring issue, often involving attacks on Palestinian homes, property, and farmland. These incidents, sometimes accompanied by the presence of Israeli forces, have led to injuries, property damage, and heightened tensions in affected communities.
