RAMALLAH, February 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces closed on Saturday the main entrance to the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah.
According to local sources, Israeli army shut the iron gate at the town's main entrance, preventing Palestinian vehicles from entering or leaving.
The move comes as a part of the occupation's repeated measures aimed at restricting the lives of Palestinians and obstructing their movement.
According to a report issued on February 7, 2026, by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the number of military checkpoints and gates across the Palestinian territories reached 916, including 243 gates set up after October 7, 2023.
