RAMALLAH, February 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Friday evening torched Palestinians’ property in a Bedouin community between Rammun and Deir Dibwan towns, east of Ramallah, according to a community member.

He said that colonists set eight mobile homes in the community on fire, burning them completely and displacing three families.

He pointed out that there was an upsurge in colonist attacks on the community in the last month. The most recent of this series of attacks occurred just two days ago, when colonists stole dozens of sheep, cash, and jewelry, and injured five inhabitants.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
