GAZA, February 20, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian child was injured on Friday after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent reported that the child was struck by live ammunition in the Halawa camp area of Jabalia al-Balad.
In a related development, medical teams recovered the body of a man who was killed by Israeli gunfire several days ago near Salah al-Din Street north of Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
Israeli warplanes also carried out an airstrike on the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, while Israeli forces carried out demolitions east of al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
