TULKARM, February 20, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinians at dawn on Friday after raiding their homes in several towns north of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
The sources said those detained were identified as Hammam Attili, Eyhab Asiya, and Mujahed Salim from the town of Attil; Majd Ahmad Abdel Ghani from Saida; and Wadie Maher Qashou from the town of Ellar, a high school student.
The sources added that Israeli forces stormed and searched multiple homes in the towns of Attil, Ellar, Saida, Zeita, and Baqa al-Sharqiya, ransacking property and subjecting residents to on-site questioning. They also tore down posters of martyr Asaad Daqqa outside his family home in Attil.
