JORDAN VALLEY, February 20, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli settler militias attacked local Palestinian residents last night in the area of Hammamat al-Maleh in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank.
Moataz Basharat, who monitors settlement activity in the region, said dozens of settlers assaulted local residents, injuring the head of the al-Maleh village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, who sustained bruises and was transferred to a medical center for treatment.
Basharat added that the settlers also attacked two vehicles and set fire to uninhabited tents in the area.
