HEBRON, February 18, 2026 (WAFA) – A child was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday evening in Fawwar refugee camp, south of the city of Hebron.
WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces stormed the camp through its main entrance and deployed in the streets and around homes, amid the firing of live ammunition, stun grenades and tear gas canisters, shooting and injuring a child in the foot. The child was subsequently transferred to hospital for medical treatment.
The occupation forces also detained a young man, whose identity remains unknown, and assaulted him.
