JERUSALEM, February 18, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday evening stormed the entrance of the Kalandia refugee camp, north of the occupied West Bank city of Jerusalem, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.
It said that a convoy of army vehicles broke into Al-Quds Street, a bustling street, where the soldiers unleashed a barrage of canisters, and assaulted several Palestinians.
Meanwhile, the occupying forces conducted a raid in Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, heavily deploying in the town simultaneously while firing tear gas canisters toward the inhabitants, as confirmed by local sources.
The gun-toting soldiers showed up at the family house of Walid Mohammed Sabarneh, and used machines to make holes in the walls in preparation of imminent demolition.
The occupation authorities had handed the Sabarneh family an order to demolish their house in last December.
Sabarneh was one of two Palestinians who were shot and killed in last November near the Gush Etzion illegal colony, south of Bethlehem.
