Palestinian man injured by colonists’ gunfire in Bethlehem-area-village

BETHLEHEM, February 17, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was shot and wounded by Israeli colonists on Tuesday in the village of Rashaydeh, east of Bethlehem.

According to security sources, a group of colonists stormed the village and grazed their livestock on Palestinian resident's land. When local residents attempted to stop them, the colonists opened fire, wounding Salameh Muhammad Rashaydeh in the foot.

The colonists also physically assaulted Ayoub, the wounded man's son, causing him bruises and injuries.
