Jenin, February 17, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished the home of the slain Palestinian youth Raafat Dawasa in the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, on Tuesday morning.
Local sources reported that the bulldozers began demolishing the three-story house after evacuating families from neighboring homes.
It is worth noting that occupation forces had stormed the town and fired live ammunition at schoolchildren, coinciding with a raid on the town of Ya'bad, accompanied by armored vehicles. The entrances to Silat al-Harithiya from the Ya'bad side were closed.
The occupation forces had notified the Dawasa family last October of their intention to demolish the house.
Dawasa was killed on August 18, 2024, when the vehicle he was traveling in with martyr Ahmed Abu Ara was targeted by an airstrike near the al-Batikhah roundabout in the center of Jenin.
